Monthly Mindfulness: What’s coming in September

Summer is winding down, and you may be prepping for a busy fall, filled with familiar and new activities. Changes in daily routines offer great opportunities to reflect and check in on your emotional health. This month, explore eM Life’s live programs touching on everything from applying mindfulness to help with depression, to building behavioral skills to help problem solve, to cultivating positive thoughts to improve your performance and boost your happiness and health.

It’s Not About Time Management, It’s About Attention Management– September 4 and September 24

This program introduces the traps of multitasking and the Attention Zones Model. It discusses the idea that our minds will drift into zones of distraction or wasted time, either out of habit or because the task seems too great. We leave little room for what is most important, namely planning and strategizing that will help us be more effective and efficient. Join us on September 4 with expert mindfulness teachers Cindy Gittleman  or

Jim Austin on September 24 as we also discuss how to find the time and the space to be proactive.
