Monthly Mindfulness: What’s Coming in February
February is Heart Health Month, and not just because there are hearts everywhere for Valentine’s Day. When you think of heart health, you may think of eating nutritious foods and exercise as the most important things to keep your heart at peak performance. But there’s one more habit to add to that list: mindfulness. Strengthening the connection between your mind and your body is another way to care for your heart this month. This program introduces the Body Scan as a form of practice where participants learn to purposefully move their attention around the body in a kind and nonjudgmental way. Many of us are disconnected from our bodies, and the body can often tell us we are feeling stressed, even before the mind . The body is the storehouse of reactivity. Join us for this 60 minute session with expert mindfulness teachers Cindy Gittleman (Feb. 2nd) and Elisha Goldstein (Feb. 23rd). Register Here
