What is eMindful™??

eMindful.com brings live online classes in stress reduction, complementary healing, and personal growth, via video conferencing, into people's homes and offices. An internet connection and computer are all that is needed. Several of the interactive classes offer CMEs for physicians, and CEUs for nurses, and are taught, live, by teachers who are experts in their field. Courses include Mindful Eating, Forgive for Good, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Approaches (MBCT).

Mindful Eating classes address issues related to emotional and binge eating. The class teaches us not only how to feed ourselves, but also how to feed our lives. We learn that mindful eating is simply paying attention to what and how we eat... moment to moment... and that our relationship with food offers a pathway to what is truly important to us. In noticing our food, our bodies, and our emotions, we begin to notice what we really want... what will give us life. We need to feed not only our physical body, but our emotional and spiritual body as well. There are tuition based introductory classes on Mindful Eating and a monthly subscription-based Mindful Eating course. Click here to find out more about our Mindful Eating Class.

Forgive for Good is taught by Dr. Fred Luskin. Skills-based forgiveness has been demonstrated in studies conducted by the Stanford University Forgiveness Project to both lower stress levels and improve physical health. To develop forgiveness skills, Dr. Luskin offers practical techniques in both a 3-week, Process of Forgiveness Class, and the 5-week Forgive for Good Class. You may be surprised to learn that forgiveness is a matter of motivation and we may be more ready to forgive than we think... we just lack the tools. Click here to find out more about our Forgive for Good Class.

eMindful offers Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians , Continuing Education Units (CEU) for nurses, and Continuing Education for California MFTs and LCSWs (Authorized by CABS Provider No. PCE 4036 to qualify for continuing education credits for MFTs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences) ranging from 3 CMEs or CEUs to 24 CEs, 34 CMEs and 80 Nursing CEUs - all in the comfort of your home.

eMindful's video conferencing software is easy to use and technical support is available to assist you. We provide a virtual classroom with live teachers and fellow class participants whom you may see, hear, and interact. Our classes encourage you to learn how to live fully and health-fully.

All classes are secular in nature. This does not mean we do not support a person’s spiritual path/growth. We simply want to convey that mindfulness, and personal growth, belongs to everyone – not a particular group or religion. The essence of our classes is the same: come back to yourself, come back to the present, be all you can be, live your dream – don’t sleep through it.
