Dr. Ruth Q. Wolever is the Principle Investigator for the "Mindfulness Based Weight Loss Maintenance" study at Duke Integrative Medicine. This study is "Part III" in a series of studies funded by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM). Dr. Wolever participated in "Part I": an exploratory study using mindfulness for Binge Eating Disorder (BED) as well as "Part II": Mindfulness Meditation vs. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies in Eating Regulation.
