Yoga and Qigong Course Information

What is Yoga/Qigong?

Yoga:

Through a series of gentle stretching exercise, and the practice of mindfulness, one can become more attuned to their body and to the present moment.

If you have never tried live yoga, in the comfort and privacy of your own home, please join us. You will be amazed at how easy it is to follow the class on your computer. You will also have an opportunity to your instructor questions at the end of class.

Yoga is good for many things. Research has shown that yoga helps manage or control anxiety, arthritis, back pain, blood pressure, chronic fatigue, depression, stress and other conditions and diseases. In addition, yoga:

  • Improves muscle tone, flexibility, strength and stamina,
  • Reduces stress and tension,
  • Improves concentration,
  • Improves circulation,
  • Stimulates the immune system,
  • Creates sense of well being and calm.
